Liverpool restaurateurs target corporates with new city centre dining space
Two restaurateurs in Liverpool city centre are targeting the business market with a new dining space and corporate service.
Brother and sister duo Gary and Bretta Adlen are the brains behind The Chancery Restaurant, which offers a private dining area on Paradise Street geared towards corporate guests.
Despite only opening several weeks ago, Gary and Bretta’s team has already served a number of large business clients, including e-commerce group Shop Direct and shipping giant ACL, as well as local energy consultant Guild Energy and the University of Liverpool.
The space can seat up to 20 people and has multi-media services available for presentations, with a menu including dishes such as monkfish, red snapper, steaks and vegan favourites.
Commenting on the opening, Gary said: “The facilities have an informal, lounge feel to them, with their own private bar. They lend themselves to the corporate market.
“Everyone who comes here is guaranteed a personal service, depending what they want. One client used the room for a formal business lunch meeting, and then enjoyed an informal evening meal afterwards.”
He continued: “We are enjoying repeat business, and are even getting inquiries from around the country now, from both the private, and public sector. It is really informal, with great food and wine, but we also want to go for the corporate market, as well as bespoke parties.”
