Shawton Telecoms & Utilities Increase Monthly Revenue By Ten-Fold Since Start Of The Year To Fast Become A Market Leader

A telecoms provider based in Newton-le-Willows is fast becoming a market leader within telecommunications just 12 months after it launched its full-fibre networking to clients across the UK.

Despite in its infancy, Shawton Telecoms & Utilities is deploying at pace and scale and has increased its monthly revenue by ten-fold since start of the year. Working alongside partners Digital Infrastructure, City Fibre and Be Fibre, the Tier 1 contractor is on track to deliver services to more than one million homes over the next five years through their unrivalled new approach to the industry.

The business started with just three members of staff when it launched in August 2021and now has more than 80 at its North West headquarters, while its formidable engineer workforce has increased from 5 to 135.

With a background in energy and engineering, Founder of Shawton Telecoms & Utilities Jamie Shaw said: “Our full turnkey solution strategy bolsters our vision of shaping the future of home working, schooling and the way UK businesses are run, by providing a domestic solution of superfast fibre.

Shawton Telecoms & Utilities offer multi-functional services ranging from route surveying, planning and design, permitting and noticing, to name a few.

The business is also playing its part in the Government’s plans to roll out transformational full-fibre networking throughout the country by 2025 and laying vital foundations for redefining the future of the telecommunications industry by investing in the engineers of tomorrow.
